Sign Language Interpretation Service Staff Questionnaire

Closed 8 Jun 2018

Opened 8 May 2018

Overview

Nottingham City Council are the lead commissioners for the sign language interpretation service, which currently provides interpreters to the deaf community. As partners we would like to continue to improve the service provided to ensure it meets the needs of all stakeholders.

The aim of this survey is to gather the views of all individuals that book this service in line with your work to facilitate communication. The results will allow us to shape the services going forward.

This survey also seeks your views on the Video Relay System that is currently in operation in Nottinghamshire County Council.  We are proposing to widen the access to this service. The Video Relay system enables deaf people to contact services from their own home. The service allows deaf people using British Sign Language to make telephone calls independently through a qualified BSL/English interpreter.

The closing date for the survey is Friday 8 June 2018.
