Draft Carers Strategy Consultation – April 2022

Overview

We are currently reviewing the way unpaid carers of all ages and health conditions are identified and supported in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham.

A new draft strategy for all unpaid carers has recently been developed. You can view a PDF copy of the strategy document below:

This has been co-produced with carers with lived experience and in partnership with both Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils and local health partners, to ensure all local carers can access the support they need, regardless of where they live.

The strategy document sets out the vision and principles of how we will work together to improve the health and wellbeing of carers over the next five years.  This will be achieved by developing high quality support services for all carers and improving access to that support, so that carers and their families can achieve healthy balanced lives.

We would like your views on our proposals, so please take 10 minutes to complete this survey. Your responses will help us to shape our plans for carers.
