Transport

The council provides transport to help eligible people travel to and from day services and other community activities that support their assessed care and support needs. The charge is applied to each return journey.

The intention is to increase the charge from 5 April 2027 in line with the inflation figure applying at that date. For planning purposes, inflation is currently assumed to be 3%. If a 3% increase applied, the return journey charge would be £11.73. 

The current charge is £11.39 for each return journey.
