Nottinghamshire Families Information Service Survey 2025

Overview

We’re keen to get your feedback on the Nottinghamshire Families Information Service (FIS). 

The Families Information Service’s purpose is:

• To provide lots of useful information for parents, carers and the professionals who work with them.
• To help families find childcare and information about the different types of childcare funding support available.
• To provide information and guidance on parenting challenges, child development and getting ready for school, linking into services that can offer support.
• To give ideas for activities to do at home and in the community.
• To give information on healthy lifestyles, volunteering, returning to work and lots more. 

You'll find all of this on our Notts Help Yourself website - part of our Virtual Family Hub.

We also share information on things that interest families through our FIS Facebook page, and our FIS Instagram such as news, activities and local events. If you would prefer to speak to a person, our advisors at the Customer Service Centre can answer queries and signpost you to what you’re looking for.

Completing this questionnaire is optional, and you don’t have to give us your personal details as everything will be anonymous. Your answers will only be used for the purpose they were collected for and will not be passed on to any third parties.

The short survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. 

All completed entries who provide their email address will be entered into a prize draw for a 1st prize of a £50 gift voucher and a 2nd prize of a £25 gift voucher.

If you would prefer to complete this on paper please email nottsfis@nottscc.gov.uk to ask for a paper copy and we will post one out to you. Please hand them in at your local Family Hub or Library and they will return them to us, or pop your completed questionnaire in an envelope and post back to us, no stamp required, to:
