Nottinghamshire Highway Design Guide - Street Trees consultation

Overview

In light of the draft changes to the Government's National Planning Policy Frameworks and the likelihood that there will be a requirement for all new streets to include street trees, Nottinghamshire County Council has taken the opportunity to produce street tree guidance to complement the Nottinghamshire Highway Design Guide.

This guidance is intended to inform transport consultants, architects, town planners, urban designers, and developers of the Council's design requirements where a development proposal is to include or will effect street trees.  

The County Council would welcome any comments you may wish to make regarding the draft Street Tree Chapter 5.5 and Appendix D [opens in new window] within 1 month of this consultation.
