Church Hill, Laburnum Avenue, Pinxton Road and Princess Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield (Prohibition of Waiting) Traffic Regulation Order 2018 (4223)

Overview

Concerns have been raised about obstructive parking at the junctions of Church Hill/Princess Street and Pinxton Road/Laburnum Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. This reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using the junctions as well as buses servicing the two bus stops.

A new development of 6 houses is currently being constructed on the south side of Laburnum Avenue at its junction with Pinxton Road.

It is proposed to introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) around the junctions and across the access road to the new development as shown on drawing number H/JMR/2746/01.
