A616 OLLERTON ROAD, LITTLE CARLTON AND SOUTH MUSKHAM – PROPOSED EXPERIMENTAL 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER (TRO 3331)

Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council has received complaints regarding concerns for road safety for both motorists and pedestrians. In response to this, the local County Council Member has requested the introduction of an Experimental 40 mph Speed Limit Order along the A616 Ollerton Road in Little Carlton and South Muskham.  

The 40mph Speed Limit will be on an experimental basis to trial a change to the highway network. The experimental Speed Limit will be in force for 18 months, which will allow the effects of the scheme to be monitored and the views of residents, businesses and other users to be collected and evaluated. The consultation period for the submission of comments and objections will last for 6 months and will end on 21st January 2022.  The location of the 40mph Speed Limit Order affected by this proposal is shown on the attached drawing H/MN/3714/01
