Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council have received concerns regarding the safety of school children crossing the road at Main Street, Linby. Requests have been received to install a puffin crossing where the current informal crossing point is on Main Street, Linby. This is to enhance the safety of the pedestrians using this crossing to access and leave the nearby School.

It is therefore proposed to install a puffin crossing, making it safer for the school children and general public to cross the road especially at rush hour and peak school times during the day.
