B6045 between Worksop and Blyth - Proposed 50mph Speed Limit

Overview

The lower speed limit is being introduced as part of an accident reduction scheme. The lower traffic speeds will give drivers more time to react to other vehicles especially at the junctions where vehicles are turning. The new limit will help reduce the speed of traffic approaching the existing 30mph speed limits in Blyth and Worksop. The speed limit would replace the existing National Speed Limit of 60mph.
