B684 Mapperley Plains - Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Overview

The proposal is for a 30mph speed limit on Mapperley Plains from near its junction with Spring Lane to near its junction with Bailey Drive. The proposed speed limit would replace the existing 40mph speed limit. The proposed speed limit would join up with the recently introduced 30mph speed limit on Spring Lane and cover all the residential roads off Mapperley Plains, the Spring Lane mini roundabout and the new Gedling Access Road junction. The new lower speed limit would give more time for drivers to react to slowing and turning vehicles.
