BRAMCOTE LANE, CHILWELL - ADVERT - PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council have received requests to install a Zebra crossing on Bramcote Lane, Chilwell at the existing refuge north of Bramcote Avenue, to assist pedestrians crossing the road in order to access the shops and bus stops.

It is therefore proposed to install a zebra crossing, which will make it safer and help pedestrians cross the road especially children trying to attend the school college as well as elderly on the way to the shops. The zebra crossing would include lengths of zig-zag lines where parking, stopping and loading would be prohibited at all times.
