Calverton Road, Arnold - Notice for Road Hump at Existing Zebra Crossing

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is proposing to install a 75mm high flat topped road hump at the existing zebra crossing on Calverton Road, Arnold. The existing zebra is located outside the Richard Bonington Primary School. The road hump will help to reduce the speed of traffic approaching the zebra and this will ensure that drivers have more time to stop for users of the crossing. The reduced speeds will make the crossing safer for pedestrians, especially for school children attending the adjacent school.
