Carsic Lane, Sutton-in-Ashfield – proposed relocation of bus stop AS0135 and introduction of bus stop clearway

Overview

The County Council works closely with all public transport operators across Nottinghamshire to identify bus stops that suffer from obstructive parking. It is proposed to relocate bus stop AS0135 on Carsic Lane 7 metres south-east of its current location and introduce a bus stop clearway. The bus stop clearway would prohibit other vehicles from stopping or parking in the bus stop from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7am and 7pm. The restriction will be clearly identified with a new sign and clearway road markings.
