Central Avenue, Derbyshire Lane and Yorke Street, Hucknall - Proposed Parking Restrictions and Bus Stop Clearway

Overview

The proposed restrictions are being introduced to reflect the changes as a result of the construction of the kerb build outs at the junction of Derbyshire Lane/Central Avenue/Yorke Street. The scheme aims to reduce the level of reported injury collisions at the location and make it easier to cross the side roads, especially for mobility impaired pedestrians, and improve visibility to the left (along Central Ave) when emerging from Derbyshire Ln (east side). The proposals on Derbyshire Lane are to ensure that no vehicles park in front of the proposed bus stop clearway to be located to the side of 1 Central Avenue.
