Devonshire Street, Worksop - Proposed Double Yellow Lines & Bus Stop Clearway

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is proposing to introduce additional parking restrictions along Devonshire Street. The double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) would be at the narrowest part of the road and would help ensure that larger vehicles can pass along Devonshire Street. The proposed restrictions will also help ensure that the area outside the school is kept clear of parked vehicles during the school day.

The existing bus stop markings would be made into an enforceable bus stop clearway which would be in force at the same time as the school keep clear markings i.e. No stopping on Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm.

These proposals replace the scheme that was consulted on during September and October 2022.
