Devonshire Street, Worksop - Proposed Parking Restrictions & Parking Bays

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is proposing to introduce additional parking restrictions and parking bays along Devonshire Street. The proposals are located between numbers 61 and 79 and are to both sides of the road. The intention is to help ensure that the existing residential driveways are kept clear of parked vehicles and that larger vehicles can pass along the road unobstructed. The new restrictions times reflect the existing residents parking scheme.

The existing bus stop markings would be made into an enforceable bus stop clearway which would be in force at the same time as the school keep clear markings i.e. No stopping on Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm.

The no waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) would prohibit waiting on Monday to Saturday between 9am and 3pm, residents who have a parking permit would be able to park within the residents parking zone during this time. The parking bays would allow drivers to park for up to 2 hours on Monday to Saturday between 9am and 3pm. When the residents parking area, single yellow lines and parking bays are not in operation, parking will be unrestricted.
