FOREST ROAD, CLIPSTONE - ADVERT - PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF 11 ROAD HUMPS AND A RAISED PLATEAU

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.

Traffic calming measures are being promoted by the Via Safety Team due to a number of road traffic collisions involving children that have occurred on Forest Road, Clipstone. This scheme aims to reduce vehicle speeds and the occurrence of any future collisions.  It is therefore proposed to install 11 new road humps and a raised plateau along this stretch of road, between its junction with Garibaldi Road and First Avenue.
