Gedling Access Road Scheme - Proposed Pedestrian and Cycle Crossings

Closed 7 Sep 2020

Opened 6 Aug 2020

Overview

It is proposed to introduce a signalled controlled pedestrian puffin crossing and a signal controlled pedestrian/cycle toucan crossing on the Gedling Access Road. The puffin crossing would be to the south-east of the junction with Lambley Lane and would provide a crossing point for the new alignment of Carlton footpath No.2. The toucan crossing would be to the south-east of the Gedling Access Road/Waldrom Road roundabout and provide a link between the Gedling Country Park and the housing development off Waldrom Road. The crossings would have controlled zones (zig-zag lines) where waiting and stopping would be prohibited.
