Hawton Road, Newark on Trent – Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Overview

The 30mph speed limit is being introduced to replace the existing 40mph speed limit. The new speed limit would better reflect the built up nature of the road and would be in keeping with the existing speed limit on the side roads off Hawton Road. The lower traffic speeds would help to encourage more people to cycle along Hawton Road and make for a safer environment for all road users.
