LANDMERE LANE, EDWALTON - PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING - PUBLIC ADVERT

Overview

Following the opening of the new retail development on Landmere Lane, concerns have been raised that pedestrians are experiencing difficulties accessing the shops. To address this issue, it is proposed to install a zebra crossing 13 metres east of its junction with Zambra Court.  The zebra crossing would include lengths of zig-zag lines where parking, stopping and loading would be prohibited at all times.

The zebra crossing would make it safer for pedestrians to cross the road and would reduce the crowding and congestion present in the area.
