Lincoln Road, Newark on Trent – Proposed 30mph Speed Limit

Overview

The 30mph speed limit is being introduced to replace the existing 40mph speed limit. The new speed limit would better reflect the built up nature of the road and would be in keeping with the side roads off Lincoln Road. The road is a mixture of residential and commercial properties with accesses directly off Lincoln Road. In addition to the new speed limit it is proposed to introduce an off-road cycle path along the north-west side of Lincoln Road.
