Mapperley Plains - Relocation of Existing Bus Stops

Overview

It is proposed to relocate 2 existing bus stops on Mapperley Plains (GE0564 & GE0565) as part the advanced works to construct the Gedling Access Road. The 2 stops are currently located between the junctions with Arnold Lane and Chartwell Grove. The 2 stops are to be moved in a north-easterly direction to new locations between Plains Farm Close and Orchard Park. The new stops are to have bus stop clearway markings and signs to prohibit stopping by all vehicles, except buses, at all times. The new stops will have raised bus stop kerbs to allow easier access onto and off the bus.It
