NNS142 - The Wharf, Newark - Bus Stand Creation

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. As part of some wider highway improvements, concerns have been raised regarding the capacity issue at Newark Bus Station.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to create a bus stand, in place of the existing parking place, from 7am till 7pm to provide additional dedicated parking for local buses (NS0984). A plan of the proposed restrictions can be seen on drawing number H/SH/5238/01.
