NNS145 - SEALED ORDER - TRO 8426 - Main Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent - Bus Stop Relocation

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding existing bus stop RU0143, which is currently situated on a bend near to the pedestrian crossing. This makes it difficult for buses to align with the kerb and as such causes access issues for bus users.

Therefore, the stop has been relocated westwards, to a location that can provide a better waiting area for passengers and a straighter kerb line for drivers to line up to. As part of the works, we have installed a Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping At Any Time except buses), and a section of Double Yellow Lines (No Waiting At Any Time) to maintain access and egress from Station Terrace. The extent of restrictions can be seen on drawing number H/SH/5218/02.
