NNS160 - TRO1344 Advert - Sandy Lane, Worksop - Single Yellow Lines

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. As part of some wider highway improvements, concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking around the bus stops along Sandy Lane, near its junction with Crown Street. This reduces visibility for bus drivers and access into the bus stop clearways.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting 7:30am to 8pm’ restrictions (Single Yellow Lines) around the bus stop clearway, as shown on drawing number H/SH/5379/01. The advert will be published in the Worksop Guardian and notices will be displayed on site.

Objections

Any objections should clearly state whether it is an objection; the scheme to is regarding; and the reasons for the objection. Objections should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by Friday 30th October 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
