NNS4 - Alexandra Street K-in-A - Bus Stop Improvements

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking and the accessibility of the bus service at several bus stops along Alexandra Street.

To address these concerns, it is proposed to relocate two stops and install six new enforceable bus stop clearways to prohibit other vehicles from stopping or waiting at the stop at any time.

Further to the stage 1 consultation letter of 25^th July 2025 there has been a revision to drawing H/LB/4606/02. This is based on comments received during the first consultation period and hopes to minimise the impact of such restrictions on local residents where possible.

A revised drawing H/LB/4606/02/A is now enclosed with this letter, along with a copy of the site notice. The next stage is to publicly advertise the scheme, and the advert will be published online (linked via the QR code below). Notices will also be fixed on site.
