NNS4C Coxmoor Estate - Thoresby Ave/Abbey Rd Bus Stop Clearways

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, proposes to relocate two bus stops and create six new enforceable bus stop clearways at the following stops, and as shown on the attached plan: -

 No Stopping at Any Time, except buses - 19 metre clearway: -

AS0647, AS0648 – Abbey Road

AS0649, AS0650, AS0651, AS0652 – Thoresby Avenue

Concerns have been raised about the accessibility of the bus stops for pedestrians, and buses being unable to properly use the stops due to parked vehicles. It is therefore proposed to install new enforceable bus stop clearways, which will prohibit other vehicles from parking or waiting in the bus stop at any time. This will be clearly identified with new road markings and signage
