PERMANENT 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT (TRO 3351) A616 OLLERTON ROAD, LITTLE CARLTON AND SOUTH MUSKHAM.

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services. After a successful 40mph speed limit trial on the A616 Ollerton Road, Little Carlton and South Muskham Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make a permanent order to that effect. 

It is proposed to introduce a 40mph Speed Limit (previously 50 mph) from a point 20 metres south-east of its junction with Ollerton Road, Little Carlton (Western Arm) to a point 25 metres west of its roundabout junction with B6325 Great North Road, Little Carlton.  The lower speed limit will help to improve road safety for pedestrians and road users.
