  • Nottingham Road, Thurgarton – 40mph speed limit to start approximatley 680 metres south-west of the existing 30mph speed limit.
  • Southwell Road, Thugarton-40mph speed limit starts at existing 30 mph speed limit in a north-easterly direction for approximately 660 metres.

It is also proposed to reduce the speed limit from the National speed limit to 40 mph

  • Bleasby Road- between the 30 mph speed limits at Thurgarton and Goverton.

The proposed 40mph speed limit will act as a buffer, encouraging drivers to reduce their speed before encountering the 30mph speed limit at the boundaries to the villages.
