Proposed Parking Restrictions at the junctions of Ash Lea Close, Bingham Road, Candleby Lane, Church Lane, Main Road, Owthorpe Road, Plumtree Road and The Old Park, Cotgrave(TRO 8302).

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about obstructive parking at the junctions of Ash Lea Close, Bingham Road, Candleby Lane, Church Lane, Main Road, Owthorpe Road, Plumtree Road and The Old Park, Cotgrave. This reduces visibility for drivers and pedestrians using the junctions and adversely affects the effective operation of the highway.

To help alleviate these problems it is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junctions as shown on drawing number H/MN/3400/01. It is also proposed to introduce No Waiting Mon to Sat 8am - 6pm, along part of the south side of Candleby Lane opposite the precinct.
