Proposed Parking Restrictions - Coburn Street, Hardwick Lane & The Twitchell, Sutton in Ashfield

Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council have received complaints regarding obstructive parking at the above junctions and on the wider highway, which is affecting visibility, safety and the operation of the local bus service.

To alleviate the problem, it is proposed to introduce Bus Stop Clearways at stops AS0639 and AS0640, on The Twitchell. It is also proposed to install ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines), around the junctions of Coburn Street with both The Twitchell and Hardwick Lane.
