RU0214 RELOCATION OF BUS STOP CLEARWAY - ALFORD ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to relocate an existing 19 metre bus stop clearway along with its associated bus stop shelter, real time pole, raised boarding kerbs and waste bin at the following stop and is shown on the attached site notice:-

No Stopping At Any Time, except local buses  - 19 metre clearway

- Alford Road, West Bridgford (RU0214) - Outside Alford Road, Sports Pavilion

The existing Bus Stop Clearway  is located at the end of the pedestrian walkway access from Alford Road Sports Pavilion where accidents have occurred at this location. It is therefore proposed to relocate the existing bus stop shelter, real time pole, raised boarding kerbs, waste bin and associated 19 metre Bus Stop Clearway, 29 metres north-west of its current location. The proposed new location will improve visibility and sightlines from the access.
