SCAFTWORTH HALL ROAD, SCAFTWORTH - PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS DOUBLE YELLOW LINES (TRO 1324) – STAGE 2 CONSULTATION

Closes 9 Oct 2025

Opened 11 Sep 2025

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver Highway Services.

Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking along Scaftworth Hall Road, Scaftworth. This is causing visibility and accessibility issues which can delay bus services. To address this issue, it is proposed to introduce double yellow lines (‘No Waiting At Any Time’) restrictions around the junction.

Further to the initial consultation letter of (15th July 2025, the next stage of the consultation is to publicly advertise the scheme. The advert will be published in the Retford Times and notices will be fixed on site. A plan showing the proposals is attached (Drawing Number H/JC/5027/02) along with a copy of the site notice.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 9th October 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
