SEALED ORDER DOCUMENTS - Chandos St junctions, Netherfield

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, has introduced double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) to the junctions of Chandos Street/Belvoir Road, Chandos St/Clumber Ave and Chandos St/Midland Grove. The restrictions are intended to keep the junctions clear of parked vehicles to give better visibility for vehicles turning onto or off Chandos Street. In addition the restrictions will allow an unobstructed route for pedestrians, especially local school children, across the road. The length of the restrictions at the junctions has been reduced from the originally advertised 10 metres to 5 metres to allow more on-street parking for residents.
