SEALED ORDER DOCUMENTS - Park Road, Bestwood village - Double Yellow Lines and Bus Stop Clearway

Overview

The double yellow lines have been introduced to remove parked vehicles from the area around the bus turning area on Park Road. The lines will help ensure that the bus can turn around and can stop adjacent to the kerbs to drop off and pick up passengers. In addition the restrictions will keep the bend clear and give vehicles pulling out of the Bestwood Country Park car park a clearer view along the road. The restrictions also include an extended bus stop clearway which will prohibit stopping at all times, except buses. The originally advertised double yellow lines on the north-west side of Park Road were shortened by 4 metres to allow more on-street parking.
