ST MARYS CRESCENT, RUDDINTON

Closes 30 Oct 2025

Opened 1 Oct 2025

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council has received complaints of obstructive and inconsiderate parking along St Mary’s Crescent and its junctions. This is causing visibility issues and making it difficult for road users, especially buses navigating along the road. It is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) and bus stop clearways (No Stopping, At Any Time, Except Buses).

Further to the stage 1 consultation letter of 29th July 2025, the next stage of the consultation is to publicly advertise the scheme. The advert will be published in the Nottingham Post and notices will be fixed on site. A plan showing the extents of the proposed double yellow lines (‘No Waiting At Any Time’) restrictions is attached (Drawing Number H/FR/5062/01) along with a copy of the site notice.

The proposed double yellow lines (‘No Waiting At Any Time’) restrictions are being introduced to address inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junctions.

Any objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing before 30th October 2025 using the e-mail or postal address at the bottom of the letter.  If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.

Please be advised that all comments regarding this scheme made during the stage one consultation period still remain valid throughout this stage two consultation period.
