Overview

It is proposed to reduce the speed limit of the derestricted sections of the A60 between Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop to 50 m.p.h.

 

The proposed speed limit is aligned with national guidance on speed limits and is designed to improve road safety for all highway users.  The lower limit is intended to support compliance with existing speed limits within built-up areas on the route and reduce community severance.
