Overview

A temporary 7.5T weight restriction was introduced in June 2017 in the Chatsworth Drive and Lichfield Lane area including A6117 Adams Way and Berry Hill Lane in Mansfield.

It is now proposed to introduce a permanent Order in the Chatsworth Drive and Lichfield Lane area to prevent heavy commercial vehicles using this non-primary road network in a manner which is unsuitable, having regard to the existing character of the road or adjoining property. Exemptions will apply to vehicles requiring access to premises within the restricted lengths of roads.
