THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MARY STREET, RHODESIA, WORKSOP) TRAFFIC CALMING

Overview

Via East Midlands, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is consulting on installing traffic calming features on Mary Street, Rhodesia, Worksop. The background to the scheme is that there has been a high number of incidents involving motorcycle collisions in this area. Nottinghamshire County Council wish to reduce the number of incidents involving vulnerable road users. As a result, we are proposing to install two road humps, specifically sinusoidal profile road humps and rectify any existing traffic calming, if required.
