The Nottinghamshire County Council (Toothill Road, Mansfield) (Prohibition of Waiting and Parking Places) Traffic Regulation Order 2018 (2218)

Overview

Concerns have been raised about the effect of vehicles parking in the evenings and on Sundays on the existing single yellow line on the south-eastern side of Toothill Road, which is obstructing the free flow of traffic along the highway. Further issues have been raised about vehicles parking on the pavement and causing an obstruction for pedestrians.

It is therefore proposed to change the existing single yellow line (no waiting Monday to Saturday from 8am until 6pm) on the south-eastern side of Toothill Road to a double yellow line (no waiting at any time). It is also proposed to change the single yellow line (no waiting Monday to Saturday from 8am until 6pm) on the north-western side of Toothill Road to a loading bay which will be operational Monday to Saturday between the hours of 8am to 6pm. This will provide a designated area for businesses to load and unload from.
