The Nottinghamshire County (Greythorn Drive and Stowe Avenue, West Bridgford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Traffic Regulation Order 2020 (8308) and the provision of a zebra crossing

Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council have received complaints regarding obstructive parking at above locations and pedestrians having difficulty crossing the road. To help alleviate the problems and to improve visibility in this area it is proposed to install a zebra crossing on Greythorn Drive and install new ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines).

The crossing and double yellow lines are being installed to assist pedestrians, especially school children, in crossing the road and to address issues with obstructive parking which is restricting visibility and impeding the movement of vehicles at this location.
