TRO 1285 ADVERT - A638 GREAT NORTH ROAD, TORWORTH - PROPOSED 30MPH & 40MPH SPEED LIMITS

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services. The county council has received requests to modify the speed limits in and around Torworth. An assessment of the existing speed limits has been carried out and is has been confirmed that the sections of roads listed above (A638 Great North Road, Baulk Lane and Daneshill Road) are suitable for 30 mph Speed Limits.

It is therefore proposed to introduce a 30 mph Speed Limit on parts of the above-mentioned roads. It is also proposed to extend the existing 40mph Speed Limit on A638 Great North Road south of Torworth Grange. The extents of the proposed 30mph and 40mph Speed Limits are shown on Drawing Number H/SLW/4258/01)
