Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding persistent inconsiderate and obstructive parking at the junctions of Thievesdale Lane and Thievesdale Close, Worksop. Vehicles are frequently being parked too close to the junction mouths, on approach bends, and adjacent to driveways, which significantly reduces visibility for both motorists and pedestrians. This behaviour also restricts access for residents, delivery vehicles, and emergency services.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around these junctions, as shown on drawing number H/LF/5363/01.
