Overview

The 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction for ShireOaks, Worksop was Sealed on Thursday 20th November 2025 and will come into force on Monday 1st December 2025. The Order has been introduced to stop heavy goods vehicles from passing through the new housing estate. 

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. As part of a new development which has been built between Shireoaks Common and the A57, the council has introduced a new 7.5 tonne Environmental Weight Limit. This weight limit is intended to stop heavy goods vehicles from driving through the new housing development, and the location of the new introduced 7.5 tonne weight limit can be seen on attached drawing number H/MW/4628/01/A
