Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised regarding inconsiderate and obstructive parking on Tiln Lane, Retford at the junctions of Elmwood Close, Richmond Road and The Shetlands. This is causing issues with visibility at these junctions.

To address this issue, it is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) around the junctions, as shown on drawing number H/LF/5216/01.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 13th November 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
