TRO 1335 SEALED ORDER - MAIN STREET, STYRRUP - 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

Overview

The Speed Limit Order for Main Street, Styrrup was Sealed on Thursday 12th March 2026 and will come into force on Monday 23rd March 2026. The 30mph Speed Limit has been introduced to improve road safety for all road users to ensure it is more in keeping with the character of the road.

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.

Concerns have been raised regarding overshoot accidents at the B6463 Main Street / Styrrup Lane junction, Styrrup. It is proposed that the 30mph speed limit should be extended to cover the junction as shown on the attached drawing H/SLW/5241/01.

The 30 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to help improve road safety along the route.
