Overview

Concerns have been raised about vehicles parking in close proximity to the junctions between Big Barn Lane/CliftonGrove/Southwell Road West and Big Barn Lane/Eakring Road/Pump Hollow Lane, Mansfield and therefore reducing visibility and access for vehicles and pedestrians using these junctions. Furthermore, vehicles parked on both sides of the road outside the garages on Big Barn Lane cause congestion for buses and other vehicles approaching and exiting the junction with Eakring Road.

It is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) as shown on drawing numbers H/JMR/2618/01 and H/JMR/2619/01 to improve the visibility and operation of the junctions.
