TRO 2289 ADVERT - RUFFORD AVENUE AND WATSON AVENUE, MANSFIELD - PROPOSED CHANGES TO EXISTING RESIDENTS PARKING BAYS

Overview

Via East Midlands is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services and has been asked by the County Council to consult with residents about proposed changes to the existing parking permit scheme on Watson Avenue and Rufford Avenue, Mansfield.

 The County Council has received a request to amend two of the existing residents’ parking bays, one on Watson Avenue and one on Rufford Avenue, Mansfield. When occupied, these bays make it difficult for residents to safely access and exit their driveways. In order to address these concerns, it is proposed to remove the bay on the north side of Watson Avenue, and to remove the section of the residents parking bay on Rufford Avenue that extends across a resident’s driveway, replacing both with double yellow lines. It is also proposed to provide an additional residents parking bay on the north-west side of Watson Avenue.  The proposed changes are shown on the attached drawing H/CLW/5373/01.
