TRO 3388 ADVERT - BEDE HOUSE LANE, NEWARK ON TRENT - PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about inconsiderate parking along Bede House Lane, Newark On Trent.

To address this issue, it is therefore proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) along the south side of Bede House Lane, Newark. This will also help to ease congestion, contribute to road safety and protect access for Emergency vehicles around Newark College and Sherwood Avenue Park.

Before proceeding further, I wish to consider the views of, businesses and organisations who may be interested in this matter. The proposals will be advertised, and notices displayed on site. A plan showing the proposals (Drawing number H/JW/4664/01) is attached, along with a copy of the site notice
