TRO 3409 ADVERT - B6030 CLIPSTONE ROAD, B6034 EDWINSTOWE ROAD AND B6034 RUFFORD ROAD, EDWINSTOWE - PROPOSED 40 M.P.H SPEED LIMIT

Overview

Via East Midlands Ltd is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway services in Nottinghamshire.

Nottinghamshire County Council has received requests to reduce the speed limit on B6030 Clipstone Road, B6034 Edwinstowe Road and B6034 Rufford Road, Edwinstowe in order to improve road safety. An assessment of the existing speed limit has been carried out and it has been confirmed that the B6030 Clipstone Road, Edwinstowe, from 40 metres south-west of its junction with Portland Road to a point approximately 150 metres north-east of its junction with B6034 Rufford Road along with B6034 Edwinstowe Road, Edwinstowe, from 80 metres south-east of its junction with B6030 Clipstone Road and B6034  Rufford Road, Edwinstowe for from its junction with B6034 Rufford Road for 39 metres, are suitable for a 40mph speed limit. 

Further to the stage one consultation letter of 5^th August 2025, the next stage of the consultation is to publicly advertise the scheme. The notice will be published in the Newark Advertiser and notices will be fixed on site. A plan showing the proposals is attached (Drawing Number H/CLW/5093/01 REV A) along with a copy of the site notice.
